In this case, the petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Punaura P.S. Case No. 45 of 2019 registered for offence punishable under sections 272, 273 of the Indian Penal Code and section 30 (a) of the Bihar Prohibition Excise Act, 2016.

It has been alleged that the police recovered huge quantity of the liquor and the petitioner on seeing the police party succeeded to flee away from there.

Looking to the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner and accordingly his prayer for bail is rejected. However, if the petitioner surrenders and prays for regular bail, the court below
