JUSTICE SAMARENDRA PRATAP SINGH ORAL ORDER 05-08-2015 The petitioner prays for a direction to the authorities, particularly respondent no.6 to dispose of the objection filed by him pursuant to the order dated 4.2.2009, passed in C.W.J.C.No. 1780 of 2009. He has further prayed for direction to the respondents to install check meter in terms of Clause 8.5 of the Bihar Electricity Supply Code, 2007.

Counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of the Company. In paragraph 13, it states that final assessment order has been issued vide letter no. 2240 dated 1.8.2015. It appears that petitioner's first grievance has been

Patna High Court CWJC No.13669 of 2011 (4) dt.05-08-2015 redressed and so far as his second grievance is concerned, as per the Supply Code, in case the consumer desires, in the best interest in order to ensure transparency with respect to the metering of electric energy, there ought not to be any difficulty in installing check meter.

In view of the facts and circumstances of the case, if the petitioner files a fresh representation before the Electrical superintendent Electrical Engineer, Circle Muzaffarpur, he would dispose of the same within six weeks from the date of receipt of representation.

The writ petition is thus disposed of.
