The petitioner seeks bail in Dumraon P.S. Case No. 72 of 2017, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 272, 273 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

144 bottles of 8PM whisky was recovered from the vehicle in which the petitioner was found traveling. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that about 25 liters of whisky was recovered and for that the petitioner is in jail since 21.03.2017 for about 11⁄2 months.

Considering the facts aforesaid the petitioner above named is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount
