2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Special POCSO Case No. 01 of 2024 arising out of Salkhua P.S. Case No. 360 of 2023 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 341, 323, 354(B), 379, 504 and 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 8/12 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offence (POCSO) Act.

3. From the statement of the victim girl, it appears that the petitioner has tried to commit rape with the victim. The petitioner is in jail since 06.11.2023.

4. Learned APP appearing for the State opposes the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner.

5. Considering the nature of allegation and the period of custody, this application is allowed.

6. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Exclusive Court, POCSO, Saharsa/ concerned Court in connection with Special POCSO Case No. 01 of 2024 arising out of Salkhua P.S. Case No. 360 of 2023.
