ANJANA MISHRA ORAL ORDER 15-05-2018 Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. The petitioners are in custody since 30.10.2017 in connection with Suiya P.S. Case No. 106/2017 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147/149/341/323/326/326A/307/594/506 of the Indian Penal Code and, subsequently, Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code was added.
Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that in spite of supplementary affidavit being on record in deposition of the prosecution witnesses, it appears that the trial has advanced substantially and only the official witnesses have to be examined.
In view of the nature of occurrence and also
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.23113 of 2018 (3) dt.15-05-2018 2/2 that the trial is well under progress, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail.
It is accordingly rejected.
However, the trial of the case be expedited so as to conclude within a period of six months. (Anjana Mishra, J) Saif/- U T
