ANJANA MISHRA ORAL ORDER 15-05-2018 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. The petitioner has been in custody since 20.12.2017 in connection with L.N.M. University P.S. Case No. 283 of 2017 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 394 of the Indian Penal Code. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the F.I.R. is against unknown, but only on the basis of the confessional statement made before the police by a co-accused, the petitioner has been implicated in connection with the present case. It is further submitted that after his arrest in connection with present case, the petitioner has been remanded in several other cases

Considering the fact that the confessional statement made before the police has no evidentiary value, let the petitioner above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Darbhanga, in connection with L.N.M. University P.S. Case No. 283 of 2017.
