04.08.2016 Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner as well as learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. The Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences under Sections 47(a)/53(b) of the Bihar Excise Act. Ten litres country-made mahua liquor is said to have recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner for which petitioner is in custody since 13.05.2016. The petitioner has no criminal antecedents.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, let the Petitioner, above named be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 5,000/- (Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Sri A. K. Tripathi, Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, West Champaran at Bettiah or his successor in connection with Purushottampur P.S. Case No. 23 of 2016.
