The Petitioner seeks bail in Sheohar P.S. Case No. 3 of 2017 instituted for the offence under Section(s) 20/22 of the Narcotic Drugs & Psychotropic Substances Act. It is alleged that 180 grams of ganja has been recovered from the possession of this petitioner. The petitioner is said to be in custody since 08.01.2017.
It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that ganja is under the category of small quantity for which the petitioner is rotting in jail for more than two months. In the facts and circumstances of the case,
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.11026 of 2017 (2) dt.18-03-2017 2/2 prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail is allowed. Let the Petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of 10,000/-(Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned 1st Additional Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, N.D.P.S.
