2. Petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 354 ( B ), 511 and 379 of the IPC , Section 8 and 12 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act and Sections 3 (ii)(v)(w)(i) of the SC / ST Act.

3 . As per prosecution case , on the alleged date and time of occurrence , when the victim was on way to her home , in the meantime , this petitioner outraged her modesty and when victim raised alarm, this petitioner snatched silver chain of victim and fled away . The aforesaid facts has also been supported by victim in her statement recorded under Section

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.42655 of 2024(5) dt.26-10-2024 2/2 164 Cr. P C . Petitioner has got one criminal antecedent of similar nature .
