JUSTICE ARVIND SRIVASTAVA ORAL JUDGMENT (Per: HONOURABLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE) Date: 15-12-2016 The petitioner has sought a direction to the respondents in the present writ application filed in public interest to conduct enquiry by the Vigilance Department in respect of allegation of misappropriation and defalcation of funds of Maharaja College, Ara by respondent no.7.
In the counter affidavit, it is stated that three men Enquiry Committee was constituted by the University on 07.05.2003 to enquire into the financial irregularities committed by respondent No.7,
Patna High Court CWJC No.10030 of 2015 dt.15-12-2016 2/2 who was also Principal of A. S. College, Bikramganj. The said Committee exonerated respondent no.7 on 07.05.2004 with regard to financial irregularities committed by him in A. S. College, Bikramganj. It is also pointed out that a Committee has been constituted on 08.02.2016 to enquire into the financial and educational irregularities in Maharaja College, Ara.
In view of the fact that the Committee has been constituted, we do not find that any further directions are called for in the present writ petition. Dismissed.
