Petitioner is accused in connection with Amnour P.S. Case No. 207 of 2016 registered under Sections 272/273/ 420/120B/201 of the I.P.C. and section 30(a)/38/41 of the Bihar Excise (Amendment) Act.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that nothing has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner. In fact, he has been made accused in this case only on the confessional statement of co-accused. It is also submitted that petitioner is in custody since 03.03.2017.
