The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence under Sections 8(b), 18, 29 of the NDPS Act.

As per the prosecution case, this petitioner was found engaged in illegal cultivation of opium (Afim) plants. It is submitted on behalf of petitioner that petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case. No chit of paper or document has been annexed in support of the allegation made in the F.I.R.

However, learned A.P.P. for the State opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail and submitted that petitioner is named in the F.I.R. and petitioner has got three criminal antecedents of similar nature.
