The petitioner has renewed his prayer for bail in a case registered under section 307 and other sections of the Indian Penal Code and section 27 of the Arms Act. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner is said to have fired from his pistol injuring the sister of the informant in her head.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the case. The injury report does not support the prosecution case. The petitioner is in custody since 16.8.2020 and undertakes to cooperate in the trial.

Heard learned A.P.P. for the State.

No.41126 of 2022(3) dt.28-09-2022 2/2 Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the allegation against the petitioner of having fired from his pistol hitting the sister of the informant in her head together with the contents of the injury report, the Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail and the application is rejected.
