For the Petitioner/s :

Mr. Smt. Reena Sinha ======================================= CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 07-09-2018 The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Nawada Town P.S. Case No. 357 of 2017 dated 28.05.2017 instituted for the offences under Sections 366(A), 376(C) of the Indian Penal Code, Section 4 of the Protection of Children From Sexual Offences Act, 2012 and Sections 66(e), 67 of the Information Technology Act, 2000.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.33178 of 2018(5) dt.07-09-2018 2/3 The prayer for bail of the petitioner was earlier permitted to be withdrawn by order dated 04.12.2017 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 50031 of 2017. The learned counsel for the petitioner has drawn the attention of this Court to the fact that charges have been framed on 02.04.2018 but the trial has not progressed thereafter.

From perusal of the report regarding the stage of the case, it appears that one prosecution witness was examined on 08.06.2018 and after his part cross-examination, a date has been fixed for his further cross-examination whereafter he was discharged. A petition also has been filed on behalf of the prosecution before the Trial Court, to examine the informant, the victim, the doctor and one of the seizure list witnesses. From the report, it appears that the trial is proceeding at a right pace.

No good ground has been made out by the learned counsel for the petitioner to give a re-look at

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.33178 of 2018(5) dt.07-09-2018 3/3 the case for the purposes of grant of bail to the petitioner.

The petition is therefore dismissed.
