From the pleadings on record and submissions of learned counsel for the parties, this Court is satisfied that the admitted dues of the petitioner have been paid. However, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that with regard to certain increments for the period beginning 1978 to 1996, the authorities have not decided the issue as yet.

Be that as it may, in view of the long time - gap from the cause of action and the petitioner raising it before the Court, this Court is not in a position to pass any positive order. However, if the authorities find that the petitioner has a genuine grievance, they may

However, any decision by the said Committee shall not give him cause of action to move before the High Court again. It goes without saying that if the petitioner moves before the Committee within one month from today along with a copy of this order, the same shall be considered and appropriate orders passed within four weeks thereafter. The writ petition stands disposed off in the aforementioned terms.
