JUSTICE RAKESH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 29-03-2016 Heard Sri Nalin Vilochan Tiwary, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Nikesh Kumar, learned counsel for the Respondent/ Bihar State Electricity Board.
In the present writ petition, which was filed in the month of May 2011, the petitioner has made a prayer for quashing of an office order, which was passed long back on 16.05.1990, without giving any plausible explanation.
Of course, in this case, a counter affidavit has been filed and a stand has been taken that the petitioner deserves no relief, the Court is of the opinion that an order passed almost 21 years back from the date of filing of the writ petition may not be entertained. This is a clear case of slumbering over right for a long
Patna High Court CWJC No.8627 of 2011 (8) dt.29-03-2016 2/2 period.
I do not find any ground to pass any positive order. The writ petition stands dismissed.
