The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 394 of the Indian Penal Code. Prosecution case as lodged by the informant is that when he was returning home after collecting money, three unknown persons on a motorcycle stopped him and on pistol point snatched away Rs. 40,000/- cash, two pieces of JIO Wi-Fi, one mobile with sim and motorcycle.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent, not named in the FIR and has been falsely implicated in this case. He submits that no TIP has been done and name of the petitioner has come in this case on the confessional statement of co-accused. He further submits that petitioner is languishing in judicial custody since 15.06.2020.
