Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 406, 419, 420 and 120B/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The informant had paid Rs.3,70,000/- to the petitioner to get back-door entry in the college. Submission of the petitioner is that though the son of the informant was admitted at Kalinga University and not at the place initially proposed, hence, after admission, just to pressurize, false case has been lodged. He further submits that as the informant himself indulged in illegal act of getting back-door admission in colleges, he cannot be protected under the law.
