2. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner seeks to file detailed representation with respect to the misuse of fund and public money by the Sarpanch and the Mukhiya of the Gram Panchayat under sub-section 5 of Section 18 of the Bihar Panchayat Raj Act, 2006.

3. Considering the aforesaid submission made on

Patna High Court CWJC No.9231 of 2023(3) dt.19-01-2024 2/2 behalf of the petitioner, the Additional Chief Secretary, Panchayati Raj Department, is directed to exercise his jurisdiction in accordance with sub-section 5 of Section 18 of the Bihar Panchayat Raj Act, 2006 within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of this order.

4. Accordingly, the present writ petition is disposed of.
