The petitioner is in custody in connection with Nautan P.S. Case No. 130 of 2020, for the offence under Sections 20 and 22 of the Narcotic Drugs & Psychotropic Substances Act. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent. Petitioner is in custody since 30.04.2020.

In the instant case total 3 Kg. of ganj was recovered from Chaarpai of the petitioner.

Considering the fact that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 30.04.2020, the Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner subject to the condition

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.36780 of 2020(2) dt.01-02-2021 2/2 that the petitioner has to deposit Rs.25,000/- in cash. On depositing the amount of Rs.25,000/-, petitioner, above-named, shall be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Sessions Judge, West Champaran, Bettiah in connection with Nautan P.S. Case No. 130 of 2020.

Deposit of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand) shall abide by final outcome of Nautan P.S. Case No. 130 of 2020.
