JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 29-08-2024 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "1.(i) For issuance of appropriate writ, order, direction to the respondent authorities to dispose off application of the petitioner by which the petitioner claims ex-gratia amount/compensation from the respondent, for the Covid-19 death of the husband of petitioner.

(ii) For direction to the respondent authorities to pay Covid-19 death relief fund to the petitioner as prescribed by the Government of Bihar."

The simple prayer of the petitioner is to

In order to address the aforesaid grievance of the petitioner, the learned counsel for the respondent-State seeks to file a supplementary counter affidavit, copy whereof has already been filed online. Let the same be kept on record. 4.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the respondent-State that a sum of Rs. 4,50,000/- has already been paid to the petitioner, hence nothing survives for consideration in the present writ petition.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in case the aforesaid amount has not been paid to the petitioner, the petitioner be granted liberty to mention the case. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

The writ petition stands disposed off.
