In this case, the petitioner is seeking regular bail in connection with Sonbarsa P.S. Case No. 45 of 2013, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 394, 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 27 of the Arms Act. This Court has received the status report of the case from the 2nd Additional District and Sessions Judge, Sitamarhi, from where it appears that out of eleven witnesses six witnesses have been examined. Warrant have been issued against rest non-official witnesses and summon have been issued against I.O. and doctor through the Superintendent of Police and Civil Surgeon respectively.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.12764 of 2017 (3) dt.10-05-2017 2/2 In such view of the matter, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for bail is rejected. However, the Trial Court is directed to conclude the trial as early as possible preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt / production of a copy of this order.
