JUSTICE SUDHIR SINGH ORAL ORDER 22-03-2017 Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and the State. The Petitioner seeks bail in East Colony P.S. case No.16 of 2015 (G.R. No.975 of 2015) instituted for the offence under Section 394 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the court of Sri Sonelal Rajak, J.M., 1st class, Munger. The allegation against the petitioner is that he was involved in looting articles from the informant. The earlier bail application of the petitioner was rejected vide Annexure-1 to the present application with an objection 'for the present'.

This is the second attempt for grant of bail on behalf of the petitioner. The said rejection was made taking into account that the petitioner had criminal antecedents.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.8684 of 2017 (3) dt.22-03-2017 2/2 A report was called for from the Trial Court. It has been reported that out of four witnesses two witnesses have already been examined and the trial is expected to be concluded within a period of three months.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. The same is rejected. The Trial Court is directed to take all necessary steps to conclude the trial preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order. The District Magistrate, Munger and the Superintendent of Police, Munger are also directed to take necessary steps to produce the witnesses on the date fixed by the Trial Court so that the trial could be concluded within the stipulated period. Let this order be communicated to the District Magistrate, Munger and the Superintendent of Police, Munger. (Sudhir Singh, J) Narendra/- U T
