Petitioner, already in custody, seeks bail in connection with Narayanpur P.S. Case No. 18 of 2018 registered under Sections 304B/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
Allegation in brief is that the petitioner, the father-inlaw of the deceased, killed the daughter of the informant by setting fire on her body for not fulfilling the demand of dowry and the deceased also disclosed about the occurrence. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that marriage was solemnized approximately seven years back and it was an accidental fire and the deceased was brought to PMCH for treatment by the accused persons and there is no statement of the lady, the daughter-in-law, recorded in the hospital or
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.25540 of 2018(3) dt.25-06-2018 2/2 anywhere else and the evidence suggests that there was some differences between the husband and the wife and the husband is in custody.
Having considered the aforesaid facts and circumstances, petitioner Rajendra Pandey is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned ACJM-6th, Bhojpur at Ara in connection with Narayanpur PS Case No.18 of 2018.
