2. The petitioners are in custody since 18.01.2017 in connection with Bettiah Mufassil P.S. Case No. 13 of 2017 for the alleged offences under Sections 272, 273/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(A) of the Bihar Excise Amendment Act, 2016.

3. It is submitted that the petitioners have been falsely implicated in connection with the alleged recovery of 5.5 litres and 2 litres of country made liquor, respectively from their possession. Recovery of the offending goods from the possession of the petitioners is denied. The petitioners claim clean antecedents.

4. Having regard to the entirety of the facts and

No.12779 of 2017 (2) dt.16-03-2017 circumstances of the case as well as the period of custody since 25.01.2017 already suffered, let the petitioners above named be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/-(ten thousand) each with two sureties of like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bettiah, West Champaran in connection with Bettiah Mufassil P.S. Case No. 13 of 2017.
