The petitioner is languishing in custody since 25.05.2016 in a case registered for the offences punishable under sections 498A/341/323/34 of the Indian Penal Code and 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.
Basic accusation is of torture for non-fulfillment of dowry demand and having illicit relationship with one of his relative.
It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner admits his marriage with the informant and he is still ready to keep her as wife with full dignity and honour, a statement to that effect has been made in paragraph 6 of the petition, which reads as under :-
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.32306 of 2016 (2) dt.03-08-2016 2/2 "That the petitioner is ready to keep her wife Devta Bharti (informant) with full dignity and honour." Considering the nature of accusation and the present stand of the petitioner, let the above named petitioner be released on bail, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned SDJM, Naugachia, Bhagalpur, in connection with Naugachia Mahila P.S.
