JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 25-04-2018 Earlier prayer for bail of the petitioners was rejected by this Court vide order dated 22.8.2017 passed in Cr.Misc.No.39344 of 2017 with direction to learned trial court to conclude the trial within a period of three months.

However, from the report it appears that as the court was vacant the trial could not be concluded. It further appears that six witnesses have been examined and the case is pending for examination of six more witnesses, including I.O. and Doctor. In such view of the matter, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

However, learned trial court is directed to expedite the trial by conducting it on day-to-day basis so that the trial may be concluded within a further period of six months, without giving

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.15902 of 2018 (3) dt.25-04-2018 2/2 any unnecessary adjournment. At the same time, Superintendent of Police, Samastipur, is directed to ensure the presence of the witnesses in court on the date fixed so that the trial may be concluded within the said period.
