Petitioner seeks bail in Jaynagar P.S. Case No.112 of 2019 instituted for the offence under Section(s) 272,273/34 Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is neither owner of the vehicle nor driver of the vehicle. He was just sitting in the vehicle.

It is alleged in the written report that total 198 litres Nepali liquor was recovered from the vehicle driver of which managed to run away.

Petitioner is in custody since 11.03.2019 having clean antecedents.

Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the A.D.J II cum Special Judge, Excise, Madhubani, in connection with Jaynagar P.S. Case No.112 of 2019, subject to the condition that both the bailors shall be close relative of the petitioner.
