The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in a case registered under sections 307, 326A and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the prosecution case, the petitioner and four others are said to have poured acid on the informant who in his attempt to save himself sustained injuries in his neck and back. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the case. The allegations are general and omnibus in nature. The alleged injuries have been found to be simple in nature. The petitioner is in custody since 4.6.2021 and has no criminal antecedent. Heard learned A.P.P. for the State.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.50688 of 2021(3) dt.24-03-2022 2/2 into consideration the nature of injuries having been found to be simple in nature together with the petitioner having remained in custody for more than 9 months and not having any criminal antecedent, the Court directs the petitioner to be enlarged on bail in connection with Halsi P.S. Case no. 114 of 2021 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/ (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Lakhisarai.
