The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with Jehanabad P.S. Case No. 1042 of 2019, dated 25.12.2019, instituted for the offences under Sections 365, 467, 468 and 471 of the Indian Penal Code. The accusation against the petitioner is of having kidnapped the parents-in-law of the informant for the purposes of pressurizing them to enter into an agreement for sale of property.

The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that there is no merit in the accusation and the case is based only on guesswork and has been filed with a

The father-in-law of the informant had entered into an agreement with one Braj Bhushan Kumar for selling a plot of land. That agreement was not respected even after exchange of money and the present case has been lodged as a clever stratagem to come out of the responsibility of transferring that plot of land after having accepted the consideration for the same.

So far as the petitioner is concerned, he is only said to be a mediator in the occurrence.

The victims apparently have been recovered.

The petitioner was granted provisional anticipatory bail vide order dated 07.04.2021.

Considering the aforesaid circumstance of the case, the provisional anticipatory bail of the petitioner stands confirmed. He shall be allowed to remain on the same bailbonds. The application stands disposed off.
