This is an application for bail in connection with Bihariganj P.S.Case No. 141 of 2016 registered for the offences punishable under Section 392 of the Indian Penal Code. Petitioner is not named in the FIR and his name transpires during course of investigation.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that except confessional statement of co-accused there is nothing against the petitioner and there is no recovery and no T.I. Parade has been held. It has further been submitted that he has also been made accused in other cases on the basis of confessional statement and he is on bail in those cases and he is in custody since 17.10.2016.

Having heard both sides and considering the allegation as well as criminal antecedents and, that too, of similar nature, as such, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Prayer for bail is rejected.

However, learned trial court is directed to expedite the trial and try to conclude it within a period of nine months. Accordingly, this application is dismissed.
