The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Chandan P.S. Case No. 142 of 2017 for the offences punishable under Sections 25(1-b)a, 26/35 of the Arms Act. The allegation is regarding the accused persons, said to have been fleeing away after looting a truck having been apprehended by the police and arms is said to have been recovered from co-accused person, namely Amar Kumar and as far as the petitioner is concerned, one bamboo danda was recovered from him.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and the accused persons from whom money and arms have been recovered, have already been granted

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.26617 of 2018 (3) dt.28-05-2018 2/2 bail by this Court vide orders dated 12.4.2018 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 11100 of 2018 and 15.5.2018 passed in Cr. Misc. No.29846 of 2018. It is further submitted that barring one case, from which the petitioner has been remanded, the petitioner is having a clean antecedent and is languishing in custody since 11.9.2017. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Banka in connection with Chandan P.S. Case No. 142 of 2017.
