2. The present writ application has been filed seeking direction upon the respondents to revise and calculate the family pension of her late husband, as per the 7th Pay Revision, as contained in Memo No. 22/2017-755 dated 20.10.2017 along with the statutory interest.

3. In compliance of the order of this Court dated 02.11.2022, a counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of respondent no.3.

4. Learned counsel for the State by referring to the statements made in the counter affidavit submits that vide letter no.

Patna High Court CWJC No.10571 of 2022 dt.29-11-2022 2/2 269 dated 13.04.2022, the deponent wrote to the office of the Accountant General, Bihar giving all necessary details to revise the family pension of the petitioner, but till date necessary order has not been issued. He further contended that again on 02.11.2022 and 07.11.2022 vide letter nos. 707 and 717 request has been made to the Accountant General, Bihar to issue revised family pension on the basis of the P.P.O. of the petitioner/her late husband, as the Accountant General, Bihar is the competent authority to revise the authority slip.

Considering the submissions made on behalf of the parties and the averments made in the counter affidavit, the writ application stands disposed of with a direction to the Accountant General, Bihar, Patna to issue the necessary authority slip for revision of family pension of the petitioner in accordance with law, preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
