JUSTICE SANDEEP KUMAR ORAL ORDER 27-01-2022 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State as well as learned counsel for the informant through video conferencing. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Bahera P.S. Case No. 144/2020 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147/149/341/323/376 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 4/6 of the POCSO Act.

It has been submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the informant Suresh Das has informed that both the parties have settled the differences as the boy and girl have married and there are living together.

Considering the above, the prosecution of all the accused (in connection with Bahera P.S. Case No. 144/2020 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147/149/341/323/376 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 4/6 of the POCSO Act) in this case is quashed.
