2. The petitioner has prayed for regular bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 308(3) and 308 (5) of the BNS.

3. The case of the prosecution is that the informant received a call from mobile No. XXXX081104 demanding Rs. 10,00000/- as 'rangdari'.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in connection with the present case. It is further submitted that the petitioner is not named in the FIR and the said mobile number does not belong to him rather his name has come on the basis of the confessional statement of co-accused, namely, Rohan Kumar

It has also been submitted that the said Rohan Kumar has been granted anticipatory bail by a co-ordinate Bench of this Court vide order dated 11.08.2025 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 50180 of 2025. The case of this petitioner stands on better footing. Moreover, the petitioner is languishing in judicial custody since 15.03.2025.

5. Learned APP appearing for the state has opposed the prayer of regular bail.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, this court is inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. The above named petitioner is directed to be released on bail in connection with Bidupur P.S. Case No. 404 of 2024 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Vaishali at Hajipur.
