The petitioner is in custody since 22.01.2018 in connection with Barhara (Raghubansh Nagar) P.S. Case No. 233 of 2016 for the offence registered under Sections 7 of the E.C. Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the allegation against the petitioner is that the rice which was found loaded on the vehicle was beyond that which had been purchased by the petitioner and, therefore, it was suspected that the said rice belongs to the Food Security Scheme. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that he is a Trader and is having good reputation in the area and has also got no criminal antecedent.

No.18357 of 2018 (3) dt.26-04-2018 Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Purnea in connection with Barhara (Raghubansh Nagar) P.S.
