The petitioners apprehend their arrest in a case under Section 498(A)/406 of the Indian Penal Code and section 3⁄4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.
The complainant was married to Chandan Choudhary, son of the petitioners. The complainant made allegation of demand of dowry and torture but she did not make any specific allegation against the petitioners. Considering the facts aforesaid and the nature of allegations made against the petitioners and the fact that petitioners are father-in-law and mother-in-law of the complainant, the above named petitioners, in the event of their
