The only grievance of the petitioner in this writ petition is that though a proceeding under the provisions of Bihar Land Encroachment Act, 1956 was initiated by the Circle Officer, Ghorasahan, District-East Champaran giving rise to Encroachment Case No. 1 of 2012-13 for removal of encroachment on public land bearing Khata No. 10, Plot No. 826 in Mauja, Shripur in the District of East Champaran but the same has not been taken to its logical conclusion.
Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking
Patna High Court CWJC No.403 of 2015 (2) dt.18-02-2015 note of the limited grievance raised by the petitioner, this writ petition is disposed of with the direction to the Circle Officer, Ghorasahan, District-East Champaran to dispose of the Encroachment Case No. 1 of 2012-13 in accordance with law and after giving opportunity of hearing to the alleged encroachers expeditiously and preferably within nine months from the date of receipt / production of a copy of this Court.
