The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Hathua P.S. Case No.3 of 2018 for the offences punishable under Section(s) 366(A) of the Indian Penal Code.

The allegation is regarding the petitioner having abducted the daughter of the informant.

The learned counsel for the petitioner has referred to the statement of the victim girl made under Section 164 Cr.P.C. and has submitted that there is no allegation of any sort of untoward incidence having been committed by the petitioner with the victim girl. The learned counsel further submitted that the trial has begun in the present case and the victim girl, in her statement, has stated that she had gone to maternal house and was not abducted by the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.28089 of 2018 (3) dt.30-05-2018 2/2 petitioner. The petitioner is said to be languishing in custody since 08.01.2018.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (rupees Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gopalganj, in connection with Hathua P.S. Case No. 3 of 2018.
