The writ application was filed with the following prayer as culled out in para-1:- "1 That this an application for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus or any other appropriate writ/rule/direction commanding the respondent authorities to conclude the investigation, arrest the accused persons of Barauli P.S. Case No. 17 of 2013 dated 9.2.2013 under sections 461,380, 120B/34 of the I.P.C. which has not yet been concluded by the respondents."

Looking to the statements made in the counter affidavit, Mr. Singh, fairly states that the police upon investigation

Patna High Court Cr. WJC No.643 of 2015 (4) dt.23-12-2016 2/2 of the case has submitted a report. It is stated that the said report is thoroughly unsatisfactory inasmuch as, the stolen idols have not till date been recovered .

Be that as it may, considering the prayer made in the application and the fact that police upon conclusion of investigation has submitted report to the Court. I am not persuaded to consider further in this matter.

The application is dismissed.
