The Petitioner seeks bail in Miscellaneous Special Excise Case No. 20 of 2017 instituted for the offence under Section(s) 30(a) of the Bihar Excise Amendment Act, 2016. As per allegation, total 1.125 litres of foreign liquor has been recovered from the possession of this petitioner. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that petitioner is in custody since 26.03.2017. It has been mentioned in para 3 of the petition that petitioner has no criminal antecedent.
Keeping in view the clean antecedent and the period spent in custody, prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail is
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.19810 of 2017 (2) dt.03-05-2017 2/2 allowed. Let the Petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of 10,000/-(Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of 2nd Additional Sessions Judge, cum-Special Judge, Saharsa in connection with Miscellaneous Special Case No. 20 of 2017, subject to the conditions that both the bailors shall be the close relative of the petitioner.
