====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE DR. ANSHUMAN ORAL ORDER 19-01-2023 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned counsel for the State and learned counsel for the Accountant General, Bihar.

The present writ application has been filed by the petitioner for fulfilling the grievance to provide the revision of his pension.

From the counter affidavit filed by the Senior Accounts Officer, it transpires from paragraph no.6 that the authority for revision of pension w.e.f. 01.01.2016 has already been issued in favour of petitioner vide office letter No.18/RV7081021189069/40954P1 and the respondent no.3 was requested to examine the matter and to send the service

Patna High Court CWJC No.15689 of 2021(2) dt.19-01-2023 2/2 book, so that payment should be assured in the account of petitioner.

In this background, the respondent no.3 is directed to do the needful so that the amount of revised pension may be credited in the account of petitioner within 6 weeks. If the said amount shall not be paid in the account of petitioner, the respondent no.3 shall be held liable for the same. If petitioner found payable for the said amount, payment be made and if not found payable then a reasoned order must be passed and communication be made to the petitioner within 2 weeks thereafter.

Liberty is also given to the petitioner that upon receiving the said decision, he may represent before the respondent no.3 again with regard to claim and statutory interest.

With this observation, the writ application is hereby disposed off.
