SINGH ORAL ORDER 04-07-2025 The present petition has been filed for modification of the order dated 20.11.2024 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 62541 of 2024 to the extent of extending the period of surrender.

2. It appears that vide order dated 20.11.2024, the petitioner was granted anticipatory bail with a direction to surrender before the Court below within a period of four weeks and the learned Court below was directed to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.43242 of 2025(2) dt.04-07-2025 2/2 each to the satisfaction of concerned Court.

3. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that as he was outside the state for his livelihood, he could not surrender within four weeks and furnish the bail bonds on time.

4. Considering the fact that anticipatory bail of the petitioner was allowed on 20.11.2024 whereas the present modification petition has been filed on 03.06.2025 without giving any cogent reasons for such delay, this Court is not inclined to modify the order 20.11.2024 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 62541 of 2024.

5. Accordingly, the petition stands dismissed.
