The petitioner seeks bail in Aurangabad Town P.S. Case No. 337 of 2020, registered for the offence punishable punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2018.

1410 litres of country made liquor has been recovered from Bolero vehicle of which this petitioner is owner. It is submitted that no recovery has been made from conscious possession of this petitioner. The vehicle in question was being used for transportation of illicit liquor by the driver without the knowledge consent of the petitioner and he has got no concern with the seized liquor. Considering the period of custody coupled with the fact that petitioner bears clean antecedent, the petitioner abovenamed, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional District & Sessions Judge IInd-cum-Special Judge Excise, Aurangabad in connection with Aurangabad Town P.S. Case No. 337 of 2020.
