JUSTICE HEMANT KUMAR SRIVASTAVA ORAL ORDER 15-11-2016 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. Petitioner happens to be husband of the deceased, who died of burn injuries. The own sister of the deceased claimed to have seen the actual occurrence and she stated at paragraph-16 of the case diary that it was the petitioner, who poured K. oil and lit the fire on the person of the deceased as a result of which, the deceased died of burn injuries.

Regard being has to the facts and circumstances of the case as well as the allegation levelled against the petitioner, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail and accordingly, his prayer for bail in connection with Khajekala P.S. Case No. 55 of

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.37615 of 2016 (4) dt.15-11-2016 2/2 2011 stands rejected.

However, the learned trial court is directed to expedite the trial of the petitioner and try to conclude the same as early as possible.
