The Petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case instituted for the offence under Section(s) 47-A of the Excise Act. Considering the nature of allegation, I am not inclined to extend the privilege of anticipatory bail to the Petitioner in connection with Atri P.S. Case No.31 of 2015 pending in the court of the Judicial Magistrate, 1st class, Gaya. Prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected.

The Petitioner is directed to immediately surrender in the Court below, failing which strict action shall be taken against him.
