Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 272, 273/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 47(a) of Bihar Excise (Amendment) Act, 2016.

45 litres country made liquor is said to have been recovered from the house of the petitioner. Petitioner managed to escape from there whereas wife of the petitioner was arrested. The informant claims that wife of the petitioner used to sell illegal liquor. The wife of the petitioner has already been granted privilege of bail by a co-ordinate bench of this Court.
