The petitioners seek bail in anticipation of their arrest in connection with Dariyapur P.S. Case No. 298 of 2020, dated 29.08.2020, instituted for the offences under Sections 272, 273 and 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code and

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.36866 of 2020(2) dt.07-04-2021 2/3 Sections 30(a) and 42(1) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

On secret information that one Shailesh Rai has kept liquor in the garden of Manish Rai, a raid was conducted and Shailesh Rai was arrested. Twenty four drums of liquor is said to have been recovered from the garden of Manish Rai. The petitioners have been named by aforesaid Shailesh Rai, who has been arrested in this case. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioners that apart from the confession of aforesaid Shailesh Rai, there is no other material against the petitioners to connect them with the offence.

The petitioners have clean antecedents.

Regard being had to the facts afore-stated, the petitioners above-named, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of eight weeks, are directed to be released on bail on their furnishing bail-bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned 2nd Addl. Sessions Judge-
