Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered under sections 237, 238, 406, 420, 349 of the Indian Penal Code and section 66 of the I.T. Act.
Petitioner is said to have allured the informant and one other to invest for getting handsome return but subsequently, informant came to know that the petitioner is cheater and thereafter, informant lodged the present case.
Submission on behalf of the petitioner is that petitioner does not have any criminal antecedent and moreover, informant has compromised the case which is evident from annexure 2 to the petition. It is further submitted that the above stated compromise goes to show that grievance of the petitioner has already been redressed.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.44710 of 2016 (2) dt.17-10-2016 Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances as well as submissions of the parties, let the petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs 10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Buxar in Buxar (Town) P.S. Case no. 407/2016.
