Petitioner is in custody since 26.4.2018 in a case registered for the offence under sections 376/506/34 of the IPC and under section 4 of the POCSO Act on the allegation that he committed rape on 16 years old daughter of the informant on the pretext of marrying her.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case for pressurizing him to marry with the informant's daughter. In view of the specific allegation against the petitioner made by the victim under section 164 Cr.P.C. and corroborated by the medical evidence, I am not inclined to admit the petitioner to the privilege of bail. Prayer for bail to the petitioner is accordingly rejected.
